Prerequisites

You set up successfully the base system and you installed a masternode server.

Let's Start

Now you're able to open the website for the masternode configuration. Check out the port which is corresponding to your coin. Here is the list.

Open your web browser and put the address http://Your-Server-IP:Project-Port

For all commands, we're using the debug console from the wallet.

When you have existing masternodes you can use them. Go to "Existing Masternode". You can easily migrate all your nodes and use the existing collateral transactions.

New Masternode

  • Create a masternode key

  • Create the Collateral Transaction ID
    masternode outputs
  • Go to the masternode configuration website and choose "Deploy Masternode"

  • Copy the created genkey, the transaction id, and the index in the formulary and press "Deploy Masternode"

  • Mark and copy the output in red without the last number after the 0 or 1(right-click copy)
  • Go to your Windows wallet and open the "Masternode Configuration File" and paste this line inside. Don't have a new line or space in the end!

  • Save the file and restart your wallet. Wait for the 100% sync.

Final Tasks

When you finished the masternode configuration, stop the web frontend for security reasons. Login into Portainer and stop the corresponding frontend container.

And when you're completely done, stop the Portainer. Go to the Linux command line. You can control the Portainer app with the following commands:

portainer-status

portainer-on
portainer-off
